How to set up the calculated items in the “Test Item”? |

Answer: Lis Test → System Setup → Test Setup → Calculated Items
Select an item that needs to be set as a calculated item.
Select the “Report Format” of the test to be “Calculate Report”. Click Save.
Click “Calculated Item”, and a window pops up. Select the item in the left window to set the “Report Format” of it to be “Calculate Report” and input the calculation formula in the lower right Calculation Formula column.
For example, the calculation formula of the “albumin;globulin”is:
TestItem[N] N stands for the “Test ID” of the test.
Such as: TestItem[8]/(TestItem[7]-TestItem[8])

How to Define the Default Value in the “Test Item Range”? |

Answer: Lis Test → System Setup → Result Range Setup→
Click “Add” button and fill in the upper limit and lower limit range. Select “Default” when a range is needed to be set as default.
The so-called default is the default range value that will be automatically displayed when a patient is registered without inputting age and sex. |

Why sometimes the test result in the “Sample Registration” cannot display the range value of the upper limit and the lower limit correctly? |

Answer: 1) Check whether the upper limit and lower limit range of the test in the “System Setup → Test Range” is correctly set up.
2) In the “Sample Registration” UI, check whether the demographics have been filled in correctly, such as sex, age and age type.
3) In the “Sample Registration” UI, check whether the inputted age of the patient is within the test range of the age. |

What to do if the instrument cannot transmit data to the software whose language is configured to Chinese? |

Answer: 1) Please check whether the communication port of the software is opened. Method of opening: click the “Start Communication” on the shortcut menu and click “Start Receiving”. If the opening succeeds, the communication icon will be displayed in the lower right taskbar of the Windows system.
Succeed: Green Fail: Red
2) Please check whether the serial port data cable for connecting the computer and the instrument is secure and not loose. Note: When performing the check, please shut down the computer whose language is configured to Chinese first. Please keep it in mind!
3) Please check whether the communication settings in the computer whose language is configured to English is in accordance with those in the computer whose language is configured to Chinese, such as baud rate, data bit, stop bit and whether the transmission mode is enabled. |

The test result is invisible in Down’s system. |

Check whether the communication procedure is opened properly; check whether the communication interface is connected to the computer on which the Down’s software is installed. If the connection functions well, check whether the communication interface is occupied by LIS, if it is true, it is necessary to shut down the communication interface of LIS, and send results to the Down’s software again. |

When adding a new screening, if the screening ID that is generated automatically cannot be modified, a new screening ID will be generated. |

There are rules for generating screening ID at the left bottom of screening parameter in the Down’s system. Serial screening ID can only be generated when there is a need for the screening that is generated when the user makes a modification. When the user modifies screening ID in the Screening Registration, as a result, only the current ID is changed, the screening ID generated later will not be affected. |

The gestation week information that is registered in the Screening Registration changes in the Down’s Screening |

Down’s system has an agreement that, the gestation week information in the Screening Registration is the pre-registration information. After switching to the Down’s screening interface, the system will calculate the gestation week automatically according to the sampling date so that the gestation week is based on the sampling date. |

The gestation week calculator in the Screening Registration does not work when calculating the gestation week. |

The calculating of ＢＰＤ、ＣＲＬin the gestation week calculator are searched according to the comparison table in the screening parameter. If the inputted calculating length doesn’t match that in the comparison table, the system will notify that no corresponding gestation week can be found, and no calculation will be carried out. |

The sample is located at the entrance of the automation line, and it has been placed on the Hem Outlet or on a wrong track. |

Search the sample in the Sample Status UI of the ADM. If the status of the sample is not “Test Request Has Been Downloaded”, it indicates that no test request exists for the sample in the ADM and the sample on the automation line doesn’t know where it should go to be tested. If the test request has been downloaded in the ADM, then it is necessary to search in the Preplink computer whether the test request has been downloaded. |

The tube passes the instrument, but doesn’t go into it. |

In the Test Request UI of the ADM, check whether the test request of the sample has been included in the instrument. If yes, check in the instrument whether the reagent for the test is normal. What’s more, because the automation line has a mechanism of balancing the workload, then the test may go to another similar instrument to be run. |

The sample goes into the automation line but not the Stockyard, and it rotates on the track of the automation line. |
| |
Check whether the test request of the sample has been included in the instrument and whether the reagent of the test is valid or not. Most of such problems are caused by incorrect reagent status. |

The tube goes into the Stockyard, but after a while it is placed on the Pending Rack. |

Check the running status of the test. Status one: if the test result is erroneous, then the sample will go to the Pending Rack after the result has come out. Status two: the existing test cannot be completed on the automation line and check whether there is an item in the ADM that is not on the automation line. Status three: the test can be run on the automation line, but it cannot be completed due to lack of reagent. |
